The Contemporary Poetry Research Group (CPRG) organized and facilitated a short run of events in Toronto. The CPRG grew out of a reading group involving poets such as Mat Laporte, Sarah Pinder, and others. The Research Group focused on events, including talks and readings, primarily but not exclusively organized by Laporte and Schmaltz.
